Bill Moody

 

 

Prophet William "Bill" Moody was born and raised in Fairmont, West Virginia in a small coal mining area known as Grant Town. His favorite sport is basketball. He played in junior high, high school, and college where he made the All-American, All-State and All-County teams. He also played professional basketball in Holland. Prophet Moody was drafted by the NBA to play for the Boston Celtics; but an unforunate knee injury prevented that opportunity.

 

Prophet Moody had a higher calling in his life. The Lord appointed and anointed him to operate in all five offices: He is Apostle, prophet, teacher, preacher, and evangelist. In 1980 he was licensed and later ordained by Rev. Wesley Dobbs. He has also traveled as a national Evangelist & Lecturer.

 

In 1997 the Lord sent Prophet Moody to Mckeesport, Pennsylvania to begin a new ministry. In his obedience he began ministering to people through prayer and prophecy's. Soon afterwards, the prophet founded, and named, The Elisha Ministry Church; which will soon celebrate it's 21st Anniversary. In 2004 he began a new ministry in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. This ministry became the extension of The Elisha Ministry Church.

 

Prophet Bill loves one thing more than basketball and that is doing God's will. He loves praying, prophesying and helping others.

 

He is the proud husband of his lovely wife, Nancy of 49 years; the proud father of 3 children; and the grandfather of 4 beautiful granddaughters and 1 handsome grandson.

 

Prophet Moody is the author of the book "The Good Hand of God." He has adopted this scripture: Mark 9:23 "If you can believe it, you can receive it!" "If you doubt it, you'll do without it!" God Keeps His Promises!
